Annual Winter Bazaar -
December 14th
Dear Parents,
The school will hold its annual
Winter Bazaar on Thursday, December 14. This is
not a fundraiser, but a chance for our kids to have fun,
learn some math, and buy some small items they might
treasure.
Clean out your Closets!
We need you to clean out your closets and bring items
you don’t need to school— toys, CDs, art, books, stuffed
animals, handbags, jewelry, wallets posters, videos,
kitchen items, electronic goods, games, sporting goods,
pictures/picture frames and knickknacks
(but please, no broken or dirty items or missing puzzle
pieces).
Can you help with the Bazaar?
-
This year, we will set up the
tables, decorate the auditorium, and sort and price
all items on December 13, the day and evening before
the Bazaar. WE NEED AT LEAST 15 VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE
THIS HAPPEN. Please contact Nancy Hahn if you can help.
-
Bazaar Sales Team! We also need volunteers to work
the booths on December 14 (lunch provided to all
volunteers), and to dismantle everything after the
Bazaar finishes.
-
Volunteers to help with ticket
presale (send out ticket order sheets to classrooms,
pick up orders and money from classrooms, process the
ticket order sheets, give the tickets to teachers).
-
Your donations of pens, paper (8
1/2 x 11), envelopes (size 10 for kids, 9 x 12 for
classrooms), permanent markers, butcher paper on
rolls and tape would be most welcome! Also, if you
have any old holiday wrapping paper you can’t wait to
get rid of, send it to school for us to use at the
Bazaar. We need holiday wrap to make our sales
tables look festive.
Thank you in advance.
Please contact Nancy Hahn if
you can help out, and let’s make the Bazaar a
success!
